WeApply applied for almost 200 jobs on my behalf and I didn’t hear from a single company, not even for rejections. I applied for jobs on my own at the same time and had a 40% first interview/phone interview response rate.It turns out that at one point WeApply had been applying for jobs under a non-existent email address (they used my email + outlook.com despite me not having an Outlook email) so that may be the cause. But they were also applying for jobs on my behalf that I definitely didn’t qualify for—I was looking for a remote technical support role, and they were applying to jobs like Staff Engineer or Backend Developer where I clearly do not have the skills nor experience. And that’s not me being modest or having impostor syndrome 😂I truly would not qualify for those roles in a sane world. They also applied to jobs on my behalf in India and Louisiana that were clearly not remote as listed on the application.I only got a partial credit/refund. The account manager I had been speaking to was nice enough, but when I asked him when I’d receive my credit he said he no longer worked at the company. Seems like the company is not doing well.Don’t bother—I know it can feel overwhelming being unemployed and not hearing from anyone, but WeApply won’t give you what you need.
