From a comparison site I selected Marmalade for my car insurance and thought I would pay monthly to help cash flow. All arranged policy sent great sorted. Then a few hours later I received a credit agreement to sign from a company called Premfina which left my speechless my policy total was just over £200. The agreement to sign was for the total amount you will have to pay £1345.31 based on my credit limit £1200. Then goes on to say. The credit is provided to finance premium and any additional insurance product or costs arranged by your broker .And its Running account credit agreement (No End Date ).So basically your broker can request more money from them at any time and you have agreed to pay this NO WAY So i went on line to cancel No phone number only a online chat which is truly useless you type wait a age for a answer then they ask same information you already given so i asked for a phone number to contact marmalade and while still on chat call the number it was for swinton ???? who were as confused as me why i was calling them .After what seems hours i cancelled and went else were for my insurance How they can expect anybody to sign such a open ended credit agreement which give all control to a third party is outside my comprehension
