Poor Quality Control & Vindictive Customer Service

Pepper bras are a mixed bag just like all other bras. Some women swear this is their HG bra. Pepper censors negative comments & blocks users on social media. They "fail to post" negative reviews on their website, or hide negative reviews *at the end* of their long list of reviews where potential buyers never bother to look/read. Filter their reviews for negative reviews. You *may* get a more accurate idea. Keep in mind that they DO censor reviews. I bought a Limitless Wirefree Bra 3 years ago following explant surgery. Left with little, I was eager to have a good-fitting wirefree bra to make me feel feminine and pretty. Sizing indicated that I'm a 36A. I tried both Medium and Large to be sure. Large was too loose in the band. I tried them on b4 I was able to wear a bra all day. Medium seemed to fit, but a 10 minute try-on is *wholly inadequate* & won't tell you the truth. By the time I could wear a bra all day, I discovered the unsightly seam down the middle of the Limitless Wirefree shows thru shirts & is most unattractive. The Limitless Wirefree provides no shape whatsoever & just flattens me out, not what I want after explant. It did NOT make me feel good, especially with that unsightly seam. The straps are too short. Extended all the way, the bra pulls up uncomfortably on my boobs all day. It's uncomfortable within an hour. After an hour, I want to tear it off & go braless. Upsizing does not help this issue. I then tried the Mesh All You, hoping it would provide shape & a comfortable no-show fit, still not realizing that I need to "try on" a bra for more than 10 minutes. Ever the optimist, I tried sister sizes -- 34B & 38AA. The band on 34B was too tight and the band on 38AA was too loose. I kept the 36A. By the time I was ready to wear a wired bra *all day,* the exchange/return window had expired. The Mesh All You has a couple stitches holding the mesh to the cup, causing the bra's outline to fully show thru shirts in a most unflattering manner, unless you're the sort, who only wears big baggy sweaters. It felt as uncomfortable & abrasive as every other underwire that I've ever worn in my life. The materials are NOT plush, soft, cushiony, or comfortable in any way, & AGAIN, the straps are too short even extended all the way out. Ever the optimist, I've continued to try their other bras in the last 3 years hoping they've improved their sizing and quality control as they've expanded their lineup. My first Classic All You bra in White Smoke 36A was as close to perfect as Pepper will ever get. It fit fairly well with the shoulder straps extended *all the way out.* The mesh is not attached to the cup at all, but the outline the bra leaves is less obtrusive than the Mesh All You. *Two Months* (10/21) after my 1st purchase of the Classic All You 36A in White Smoke, I bought 3 more Classic All You bras in 36A -- Sienna Rose, Tuscan, & Black. According to the label, they were the same size, but the fit was all over the place. Quality control seemed to have gone in the toilet. The mesh wouldn't cover the cups properly leaving an unsightly line across the middle of the cup under shirts, and they were all too tight either in the cups or the back strap or both, and the straps were again TOO SHORT. I'm still an optimist, so as the years have gone by, I've continued to give Pepper a try. MVP Multiway Strapless - flattens me out, might as well wear a binder. Turns out I look MUCH BETTER braless than in the MVP Multiway Strapless. Lift Up Bra - does its job, but like any underwire add-a-cup padded bra, uncomfortable within an hour. Ultimate Contour T-Shirt Bra -- nothing ultimate here. The Ultimate Contour T-Shirt Bra is a demi cup, which cuts into the middle of your boob, creating the dreaded "quad boob." The foam is too thin. Nips show thru -- absolute "no no" for a t-shirt bra. *Maybe* if they provided a thicker foam lining & properly tapered it to the edge, it could be better, but the cups on the Ultimate T-Shirt Bra are also TOO SHALLOW & the shoulder straps are AGAIN too short, shorter than all their other bras. If the distance from the bottom of your boobs to the top of your shoulders is *only 10 inches,* you will love this bra! Recently, I was leaving *honest* reviews for Pepper's bras on their website. Someone at Pepper didn't like that. The anonymous screen name in my review that I selected was changed a few days after the fact to reveal my full name and email address. I contacted Pepper via text to have my full name & email address removed from my review on the site. Someone responded to my text with a laughing crying emoji! Yes, you read that right! I was stunned. I texted Pepper again a day later. The laughing crying emoji was not acknowledged. Someone removed my name & email from my review. You decide whether Pepper is worth trying. Try on for *an hour or more.* Make sure you understand the return policy b4 purchase.
