Updating my original review because I didn't provide "additional information" within 3 days of their request. Worth noting, it took Weavers of Ireland WEEKS to respond to my December 20th request after having been shipped the wrong item and the issue is still unresolved as of Feb 6, 2026.
Timeline:
Dec 13: ordered red/tan scarf
Dec 22: received wrong color (green/charcoal) scarf and immediately emailed customer care
Dec 25: I email, no response.
Dec 30: Weavers of Ireland sends generic AI email on how to file return. I want to exchange for the correct item and obviously not pay shipping to return their error, so I continue to reach out.
Dec 30: I email, no response
Jan 2: I email, no response
Jan 9: I email, no response
Jan 12: I email, no response
Jan 15: Weavers emails apologizing for "high traffic" on their end and arranges for exchange.
Jan 20: I mail the incorrect scarf back
Jan 23: I receive notification they have received the scarf.
Feb 6: I email inquiring whereabouts of correct scarf which they claimed was being shipped upon receipt of wrong one.
I highly recommend shopping elsewhere. Weavers of Ireland is a real company with real products (as evidenced by the incorrect scarf they sent), but their service is possibly the worst I've experienced in 34 years. Maybe they started small and failed to scale to meet demand, but we're almost 2 months from my initial order date and I still don't have the product I ordered. Getting in contact with their customer care has been a nightmare and has occupied an inordinate amount of time. Hoping I get the scarf in time for next winter, but not counting on it.
