I've been a customer of Webhostpython since 2018, but as of a few days ago, that has come to an end. It really saddens me to give WHP a 1 star review as I never thought that day would come. The first 5 years were absolutely incredible and I appreciate James/Shane so much. Wish I could personally thank them for everything they did for me - they always went out of their way to provide phenomenal service/support with actual fixes and always explained the process which taught me a lot. Their servers were fast, but what really made WHP stick out in this industry was their support which unfortunately, after acquisition, went completely downhill instantly. Support went from minutes and actual fixes to taking days for responses in which usually would just be a question after 15+ hours and nothing of value which would just lead to circles until I'd just close the ticket and accept that I wasn't getting help. I then avoided support as much as I could and had to seek out management even though I had a managed service that prior to World Host Group taking over, was always happy to help.Back in May, the 2 day downtime was handled so poorly and I know the previous management would not have let that slide as I remember them flying to the datacenter when there were issues and the funny thing about that, was it was issues we didn't even know about nor bring our services down. I know it was a datacenter issue that was out of their control initially (which I actually found out through forums rather than communicated by WHP until hours later), but every company that had servers in that datacenter were back online within hours, but yet, Webhostpython took 2 days (36 hours to be exact) to bring my server back online and the lack of knowing what was going on was concerning. I know they said some servers had hardware failure but my server wasn't even one of them, they just took their sweet to bring it back online since as they said "we're booting each server 1 by 1". Before that even happened, I knew I needed to leave as none of my tickets were taken care of so I knew that Webhostpython was no longer to be trusted and couldn't be depended on anymore - honestly that's on me for still staying with them. After way too many months since the acquisition, I have finally left Webhostpython as it just isn't what it once was unfortunately, but that's just how the cookie crumbles when companies get sold - especially to companies that are just trying to acquire as many hosting companies as they can.I wish you guys the best and again, a big thank to the original Webhostpython before World Host Group bought it as they were absolutely incredible.
