I've been using WellFound for a few months now, and unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating. Here are the biggest issues I’ve encountered:Disappearing Job Listings – Every time I post a new job, I check back the next day only to find that it’s gone—without any explanation. There's no notification if it was removed by support or if it’s just a system glitch.Vanishing Messages – I’ve reached out to potential candidates who applied, only for our messages to completely disappear for weeks. Then, out of nowhere, they’ll reappear in my inbox. This makes communication extremely unreliable.Flawed Remote Hiring Options – If you select "remote," the system assumes you’re open to hiring anyone worldwide. There’s no easy way to limit remote candidates to just the U.S., unless you manually add one city at a time—which is time-consuming and inefficient.Given these issues, I cannot recommend spending money to advertise on WellFound until they fix these major flaws. It’s simply not worth the hassle.***AN UPDATE***Wellfound is managed by individuals who seem incapable of handling criticism professionally. Just two days after I posted my review, they blocked my account and revoked my access—an incredibly unprofessional move. This is a major red flag for anyone considering doing business with them. You can’t trust a company that lets emotions dictate their decisions.
