Extremely disappointed with this transaction from Wern Wood. Would only be a 1 star review but for the excellent prices they offer. Ordered items on Monday and was advised would be delivered Wednesday/Thursday which was important as was having works completed over the weekend. Items arrived on Friday which is fine as was in time for weekend. A plasterboard ordered was damaged en route by rain. Contacted the store to arrange a replacement. I was told they would try their best to get me one at the end of the day a that I would get a phone call within an hour advising. A couple of hours passed I heard nothing. I phoned in and was told they are trying to work on it and again I would get a call back. I waited until the end of the day and still had not heard anything so i decided to call again. Was advised they would not be able to deliver to me that evening and that they would get it delivered first thing Saturday morning. With the arrangements I had I felt I could make this work. Saturday morning still no delivery and did not get a call until 12.30pm telling they would not be delivering the item and I would be issued a refund. Really not ideal to be lead along all this time. If I had been told this Friday morning I could have made other arrangements instead of putting my trust in them. Needless to say, work was not completed as it’s not easy to fit a 2.4m piece of plasterboard in my car and now I am having to fork out extra money to have someone come back and finish the work
