I would like to share my experience of studying at the WES online school. I started studying English because I wanted to feel more confident while living in a country where people don't speak my native language, and communicating at work with English speaking partners. I have been taking classes for more than three years. During this time, I’ve had several different teachers, and each of them contributed something valuable through various formats we agreed upon.At times, we focused more on grammar and the rules of English, working through different tests. At other times, we concentrated on conversation, improving my spoken communication skills. The teachers use a variety of materials to help structure the lessons more effectively.I believe that my ability to communicate in English has significantly improved during this period of study. Now I can easily hold conversations with native speakers and feel more confident during work meetings.The platform used for interacting with the school is very convenient. I can choose a teacher, reschedule lessons, or watch recordings of past classes, and I always receive reminders about upcoming lessons in advance. That’s a great feature.Currently, I’m studying with a teacher who selects topics that help me understand how the English language works—not just by memorizing rules, but by grasping the underlying logic. I really appreciate this approach.The lessons are diverse: in one session, we might focus on listening and answering questions, while in another, we might do tests that involve building complex sentences from a list of suggested words. It’s challenging, but very engaging. Brian is patient, enthusiastic, and always adapts the lessons to my level and interests.
