1999: Graduated from the College of Phytotherapy / University of Wales and licensed by NIMH (National Institute of Medical Herbalists) & CPP (College of Practising Phytotherapists) by invitation. 2003: Western Botanical Medicine certified Organic by CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers). We were one of the first tincture companies to become certified organic in the United States.
2010: FDA requires all supplement companies to comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Current: Western Botanical Medicine is a FDA audited and GMP compliant business providing certified organic extracts made to European and American Pharmacopoeial standards. Only stainless steel and glass are used to manufacture and store our tinctures and they are only ever sold in glass bottles. Our retail tincture range is comprised of 40 formulae and single herb extracts with over 100 additional single herb tinctures in stock for creating custom bespoke formulae for our clients in our clinic. We believe traditional herbal medicine is an excellent and safe approach to bring about health and vitality especially in this increasingly polluted system we live in. Liquid Herbal Tinctures are particularly well tolerated with incredible bio-absorption and are free from toxic fillers and additives commonly found in pills and capsules.
