Terrible council, money grabbers.Parked in a pay and display outside St Mary's hospital where all the disabled bays were suspended or full additionally there were restrictions on this road due to roadworks. Therefore to avoid a long walk which I cannot manage, I had to park in a pay and display. My blue badge was on display. I came back at 8.52am to find a parking ticket was issued at 8.46am. The traffic wardens are prowling from the minute restrictions come in to place. I have a blue badge but apparently I still have to pay for parking (most other councils are free including mine RBKC) via an app. There is nothing anywhere to say this displayed unless you go on to their website (which I did) however this is as clear as mud and written in a way that I guarantee catches other people out too! Blue badge holders have special needs and cannot always walk to a pay and display (if they can find one) or navigate their way around a parking app!! They deliberately target vulnerable people visiting a hospital. Shame on you Westminster
