Edited: Company got in touch to let me know that the sofa was delayed because they are made to order, and the item did not pass inspection so they had to start over from scratch. It eventually did arrive Nov 8th, so about an additional 6 weeks past the original thirteen week timeframe. The item itself is very nice and I'm happy with it. The company gave me a 100€ gift card in compensation for the delay.Thirteen weeks into an 11-13 week window waiting for a sofa delivery, I logged into my account to check for updates. The order had been quietly updated to now show the delivery window being an ADDITIONAL 3-11 weeks. No email from the company about the delay, no explanation when I called. The only option is to cancel the order or wait. I don't even know which to do, because the difference between 3 more weeks without a place to sit and relax in my home vs 11 more weeks is a huge one! Extremely frustrated.
