The sale of our farm fell through a week before Christmas and I was given the news by my solicitor. The buyer's solicitor said that they had already informed our agent, White and Sons, Leatherhead some days previously. I had not been contacted by the agency. I phoned their office and was told that the person dealing with the sale was away until after Christmas and someone at the office would get back to me shortly. No-one from White and Sons contacted me with any explanation or update, despite several subsequent phones calls. After a week of this, just prior to Christmas and in total frustration, I emailed them to terminate our contract due to non-communication. As of 19th January, I have received no response at all, even to acknowledge termination of our contract. Quite extraordinary behaviour and very poor business model, not to mention rude and disrespectful. So, no, could not recommend this agency.
