I had an awful experience with Brightside Moving. Initially quoted $2845 and told the move would take 7-10 days, I paid a $1350 deposit. Just days before the move, they increased the cost by $1600 and changed the delivery window to 7-21 days, forcing me to pay an additional deposit. On moving day, a 26' truck arrived that couldn’t fit on my street. Five movers showed up instead of the promised three and demanded an extra $1300, later reduced to $700. They also required 80% of the remaining balance at pickup, contrary to our agreement.Upon arrival at my destination, my items remained on the East Coast for over a week, with delivery repeatedly delayed. When my belongings finally arrived, many were damaged due to poor packing. Brightside Moving’s deceptive practices, constant additional charges, unprofessional behavior, and failure to communicate caused significant stress and financial loss. I strongly advise against using their services.
