Yesterday I used the fixmycar site and I was immediately contacted via WhatsApp by this company called Mostly Solutions Ltd by WhatsApp. I was booking another mechanic, but these ones were really competitive and offered a lower quote, which is the purpose of the site. They booked a job for me, I paid a £10 fee to secure the booking, and they sent me a confirmation document. I then made arrangements paid for bookings, since I was told I would have a car to drive to France today after being fixed. Based on this, I booked a flight and made travel arrangements. This morning, the mechanic cancelled via message without justification. This has caused me significant financial loss and stress. I would like to leave a negative review, but the fixmycar site is currently preventing me from doing so. This whole experience felt like a nightmare. Fixmycar shouldn't just give people's phone numbers to companies that are unprofessional and then not even letting a person give them a negative review. When I saw the reviews, they seemed legit, but now I understand why, we can't give negative reviews, so they can manipulate that. Really bad experience.
