I’ve just finished the Atlas Mountains to Sahara trip with Wild Axis Expeditions and it was an amazing experience. The local team in Morocco were awesome, super friendly, knowledgeable, and great to be around all week. James was brilliant with the pre trip planning and gave really solid advice on kit and what to expect, which made everything feel straightforward and well organised from the start.The food was unreal and especially impressive considering how remote we were. Huge credit to Hussein who cooked incredible meals every day. We climbed mountains, trekked over remote passes, visited Berber villages and nomadic communities, and finished by camping under the stars in the Sahara. Off the beaten track, we didn’t see another tourist the entire trip. This felt like real exploration.A proper adventure well run from start to finish. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for something genuinely different.I will be back for sure :)
