This is one of the best trips I have ever been on. Ethiopia won my heart when I visited the northern circuit in April 2014 and I wanted to see more of the country on another visit. What can I say. The sights to see were incredible - from climbing up to the Erta Ale Volcano during dusk and seeing the glow from the lava as we approached it to standing there and watching the lava bubble away. We saw the salt flats and the incredible digging for salt in incredible temperatures and the camel trains taking the salt away. We visited Dallow and saw and smelt the incredible Sulphur pools. In additon we stopped at various markets and villages along the way seeing what local life was like. Wild Frontiers Tour Leader Dario Ghirlanda was fantastic, attending to our every need with out fuss or argument. He was calm and collected at all times and just knew how to organise and lead a tour. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he arranged things expertly. You couldn't wish for a better tour leader. Overall Wild Frontiers trips are all excellent with good tour leaders brilliantly thought out itineraries. Everything is included including water which saves all the issues when stopping for a cup of coffee or just wanting a supply of water. All entrance fees are included as is plenty of food. You never go hungry or thirsty on a Wild Frontiers trip. Although appearing to be slightly more expensive than equivalent trips because they include everything and are smaller group sizes you get your monies worth. Would thoroughly recommend Wild Frontiers
