I bought a secondhand car from Wilsons in November 2025. I noticed one of the brackets around a wing mirror wasn't fitted correctly so organised an appointment in December 2025 to have this and another issue repaired. They returned the car without fixing the mirror, which I advised them about before I left the carpark. In attempting to fix it there and then, they broke the wing mirror. It took them until February 2026 to get back to me and organised a replacement mirror. I arrived during my work time for the repair. Inwas subsequently told that they had ordered the wrong part, so I will need to attend, during my work time again away from my busy hospital, to get this fixed. This is utterly amateurish. It is a basic wing mirror repair. It is a matter of ordering a mirror to fix a particular make and model of car. They know that already because they sold it to me. If Wilsons cannot be trusted to fix this, they cannot be trusted to touch my car at all (clearly, given that THEY caused the damage in the first place). It is not the first time that I have brought my car to Wilsons and that have damaged ine thing while repairing another. Utterly, itterly incompetent.
