I recently viewed a property through Winkworth Barnet on 2nd August and submitted my rental application after the viewing, as advised. I was told someone would call me with more details, but no one did.When I followed up by email, the agent (Matt) replied to say the property was still available but removed from the market to stop enquiries, and that five tenants had been proposed to the landlord. I responded immediately to confirm our strong interest and requested to be kept updated, whether the decision was in our favour or not.Unfortunately, I received no further communication or courtesy update from the agent. Clear and timely updates are important when people are making such significant decisions about their home, and I feel the lack of follow-up here was unprofessional and disappointing.
