Horrible, endless nightmare for wedding planning. WithJoy managed to royally screw up my Save the Dates. Their website requires you to use their contact collector, which requires email addresses to use, or gives you the option to import guest list information however it must be in a specific format in order for the import process to work. So I formatted all 200+ people specifically according to their website instructions. Then I imported the addresses to the WithJoy site. Then I designed Save the Dates and went to order the cards and envelopes. Here is where the nightmare began. The only two options for printing return addresses on the envelopes were either just the names on the envelope flap (the back of the envelope) or the wedding couples' names and full address on the back envelope flap. There is no way to edit the "To" mailing address on the front of the envelope. All the addresses printed in one long line across the front of the envelope. I figured that since WithJoy is such a massive operation that whatever their design tool showed me would be fine. Oh how wrong I was. Over half of my invitations never made it to the addressed party. Between postage and the cost of the cards I am out $300. My wasted time spent fixing this is worth money too. The USPS office told me that 1) return addresses should always be on the front upper left of the envelope, not centered on the back. This is confirmed on their website. 2) WithJoy printed the delivery addresses in nonstandard format. Keep in mind there is no way to edit this as a user and there was no website warning that the addresses would be undeliverable. 3) The return addresses on the back were the only things printed in the delivery format. 4) USPS cannot rerun the invite through the machines again because they have already used the postage. 5) The USPS cannot guarantee that any of the undeliverable invites would be returned properly due to the aforementioned issues. Every week for months, I get returned mail. I brought this up to WithJoy's team, who blamed me for not manually reformatting all the guest addresses in the website (not the invitation design) after I imported them. So what was the point of formatting and importing??? I pointed out that there was nothing in any section of the website or the design tool that mentioned this. I asked for a refund of the money I spent on the printed invites and for postage. They offered to reprint the envelopes for free ... without the cards. I asked them what they thought I would be putting in the cards? As there were no more Save the Dates because they were all sent out, and some took months to be returned and so when they were returned they were quite damaged and beat up. Months went by and I decided to go someplace else to print my actual wedding invitations. I logged on to WithJoy to check the RSVP status, because after spending hours and hours building the wedding website and already directing dozens of people to the site, WithJoy is unfortunately where all my RSVPs are. Guess what? The WithJoy team deleted all my addresses from my guest list. Astonishing!
