I have been casually looking for a new data analyst role for about 6 months. Not desperate but my current company has no growth potential. The problem with job hunting while employed is you have maybe an hour each night if you're lucky. By the time you find a good job, research the company, tailor your resume, write a cover letter… that's your whole evening for one application.My roommate kept bugging me to try this AI agent. Finally did the free trial just to shut her up. The resume builder immediately showed me I was underselling myself. I had all my technical skills buried at the bottom and wasn't quantifying any of my projects. Rebuilt it with their suggestions, moved SQL/Python/Tableau to the top, added specific metrics, and gave popular keywords and skills I need to put in my resume about my sector.For auto-apply, I was really specific: data analyst roles, remote or hybrid in Chicago, 85k minimum, no Fintech (been burned before).Over 9 weeks it applied to 338 jobs. What I loved is it found jobs on niche job boards and company career pages I would never check. Like it found a position at a nonprofit I really believe in that only posted on their own website..Results so far: 13 phone screens, 5 technical interviews, 2 final rounds. Already got one offer at 95k (15k raise) and waiting to hear from the other. The nonprofit actually created a hybrid position for me after the interview went well, which wouldn't have happened if Wobo hadn't found that posting.My only bad experience is that sometimes it applied to "data analyst" roles that were really just reporting positions with no actual analysis.
