I truly wanted this to be a positive experience. Publishing a book is emotional and thrilling, especially for a first-timer, but working with the company has been stressful. From the start, everything felt slow and disorganized. The social media strategy lacked substance, and the turnaround for edits took forever. Sample copies never arrived, preventing me from checking the book before printing. The most frustrating part? They printed 100 copies using an outdated version of my file, resulting in mistakes and a poorly aligned cover due to their disorganization. Their response was merely to waive the remaining balance, but now I face the costs of reprinting everything. The only positive aspect was the editor, who was genuinely supportive. Unfortunately, she was the exception rather than the norm. I wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone seeking a smooth publishing journey. It's been exhausting when it should have been exciting.
