We are very disappointed with our experience at Woodies Kitchen Design in Tallaght. We attended two design appointments and made changes during the second visit, which slightly increased the cost — something we were happy to pay to get the kitchen we truly wanted. Once we approved the final design, we were required to pay the full amount upfront.Woodies recommended a builder for installation. As he began assembling the kitchen, we realized the wrong design had been sent — the original version, not the final one we had approved, comproising the functionality of the kitchen. We discussed this with Woodies to solve it and we finally were told the final design wasn’t possible due to plumbing limitations.This is unacceptable. Woodies claims the site was assessed before the final changes, but they should have reassessed it after the updated design was agreed — before taking full payment. It was their responsibility to ensure the final design could be built.We’ve paid nearly €12,000 plus €4,000 for assembly and are not getting the kitchen we planned. Woodies has not offered any alternative solution or compensation for their error.This has caused serious frustration and disappointment. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Woodies Kitchen.
