This App Is a Scam — Avoid at All CostsI downloaded Work With Shadow hoping it would provide support, but instead, I’ve been scammed. They initially charged me $21 for a monthly subscription, which I could live with. But this month, without warning or authorization, they charged me $59. When I reached out to ask for a refund, not only did they ignore my request, they went further and charged me an additional $144.Let me be absolutely clear: this app is not here to help you. It exploits people who are already vulnerable and looking for support. They take your money without consent and provide no legitimate service or way to cancel. This is predatory behavior and borderline fraud.I’ve checked — and I challenge anyone to find a genuine, satisfied customer. Every review that’s positive looks fake. They don’t respond to refund requests, they don’t offer customer service, and they hide behind shady billing practices.If my refund isn’t processed, I will not stop here. I’ll escalate to Apple/Google, my bank, the Better Business Bureau, and consumer protection agencies. I will also post this warning anywhere people might come across this scam.Apps like this prey on people’s trust. They should be investigated, shut down, and held accountable.
