World Center of Baby made our wish come true! We were searching for a surrogate program abroad because in our country is not legal. We found WCOB on the internet. Initially we were sceptical about anything related to surrogacy program abroad but we had no other way that we could have our own baby. We chose WOCB after some research because they seemed more professional and more experienced than others. The updates during the pregnancy were good and reassuring even though sometimes it took longer to receive the translated version or had small delays and beeing far away, it made us anxious until we received the updates letting us everyhing is ok. In terms of communicating with the surrogate mother, everything was smooth, we had 2 video calls with her, answered all the questions, gave us updates. We were updated constantly about the health of SM and our baby, giving us peace of mind. We didn’t have any problems with the documents and didn’t have any difficulties with the legal part. We had support on the way to parenthood from the WCOB, the medical staff and our family. Initially our embryos were in Georgia but were moved to Ukraine as the Giorgian law changed for surrogacy. Choosing Ukraine was the right choice in the end. Our baby was born in Kyiv which is a beautiful city and we will probably want to come back once the war is over. To prepare for the birth of our baby, we made sure we had everything that we need in terms of documents, baby stuff and kept in touch with our representative from WCOB so we can be ready to leave for Ukraine the next minute after we were informed that SM is going to the hospital to prepare for birth. We spent the next almost 3 weeks in Kyiv, slept in the hospital after our child was born, we moved after 3 days to the hotel while our documents were ready. It was a tiring and stressfull journey especially beeing a complete stranger in Ukraine but in the end it was worth it because we have our miracle. The WCOB team was professional. During our stay we felt a few times that the communication was not great but things are moving slower in Ukraine (beeing at war) and we were not the only parents at that time (in Ukraine with WCOB) so we can understand. Maybe having more staff in the team so they can communicate better with the intended parents could be an option. After all, neither of these small things matter now as we have our baby. The advice that we can give to intended parents is to do their research, read every review (as we did), be prepared to stay more than planned in Ukraine, don’t lose focus and hope on the end result (your baby). Have patience! We’ve met intended parents that stayed 6 weeks (from another company and from another country). We recommend WCOB. For us it was the right choice. Our dream came true! God bless!
