This game has to be the biggest con in the online gaming community. It is a pay to win game but not only that, it is a PAY FOR EVERYTHING game. They try to extract money from players for every little thing. The game is deliberately designed to be addictive and it encourages gambling in children by getting them to pay for 'boxes' that might contain something useful in the game. This is illegal in many countries but it is getting under the radar of the authorities. DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS PLAY THIS GAME! It is designed to be frustrating and can bring out extreme anger in children. It is one of the worst examples I have seen of blatantly ripping off players for profit. Oh and for anyone who thinks I am an inexperienced player who losses all the time, I have played over 30k games and have a win rate overall of 55.95% which is reasonable. I have contacted the ACCC in Australia for comment on the encouragement of online gambling in minors.
Playing for a few years and have enjoyed in the past.Unfortunately the builders have become greedy and overly encourage pay to win gamers. The people that have been long term and not so successful seem to more often end up on a team that don't attempt to win, or understand to game at all. The algorithm seems to favour moneys spenders.
The game is rigged. This is the single most important fact to understand. I will explain some of the ways the game is rigged below but you have to understand the motivations of WG - to make money. Pure and simple. They have no interest in a game that requires skill. They need bad players to carry on playing and not to give up and that is why they rig the game. Another reason is that long winning streaks and long losing streaks are bound to encourage you to continue for longer. If you are winning, you are feeling enjoying it so much you will continue. If you are losing, you will be frustrated but likely continue to 'turn it around'. What is not good for them is a 60% player winning 6 out of 10 games. In that event after 10 games he/she will likely stop. Now I will explain how they rig it and by the way if you google these items you will find statistical investigations of each of them - Yes they have been verified whatever WG say:1. Matchmaking (MM) - several ways this is rigged (i) being made lower tier so you have less chance (you will be fodder for higher tier tanks) to influence the result. I know one good player who recorded whether he was lower or upper tier over 2000 games (a very large sample set) and found he was lower tier 65% of the time. The game was rigged against him (ii) the average WR of the tanks in your team vs the competitor team - again the algorithm works to rig the result. In one analysis on youtube a 65% player found his team's average WR was 50% (including his own) vs 52% for the opposition over 600 games. Again this is statistically significant and not chance (iii) type of tank -they introduced all these fantasy tanks like smasher to kill you in one go.2. In Game Dynmaics (i) ghost shots -these are shots that vanish - I sent a video in and they confirmed they exist but they don't do anything about them. I suspect this is because this is part of the rig effort (ii) RNG - random number generator which is supposed to represent the random element as to where a shell goes/bounces or hits tracks - you will find on some days that literally most shots hit tracks or miss and other days where the opposite occurs (this one is harder to prove but trust me it is there and the 40% player opposite will penetrate your tank every time).3. AI bots - WG refused to deny they used these to provide more players but basically they would be another way to rig the result.4. Cheats - widely known about and strictly speaking not a WG issue but they cover it up.
Unbalanced game with tanks in battle of different level and stealing where 9 times out of ten you are destined to lose, the premium tanks are weaker than the standard ones it is not worth spending money on this game that instead of relaxing makes you nervous because it is developed very badly, bad judgment.
This game is trash don’t play it, it’s designed so creators of the game can get your money because what ever tank you buy a tank of lesser grade can destroy your tank you upgrade to a higher level tank and a lower level tank can still destroy your tank.The game is not evenly matched there is many glitches and bugs, it’s a total waste of a persons time I played for 4 hours never won a game
