I received a Cream Tea Hamper as a gift while recovering from major surgery and was excited when it arrived, as it looked beautiful. I intended to share it with a visitor the next day. However, upon preparing it, I found the cream was open and had a stale covering. After reaching out to the company, they only offered a refund for the cream, which was very disappointing. Being housebound makes it difficult for me to get more cream, and a cream tea without cream is simply not the same. Their response felt insufficient; just a basic email asking if I wanted a refund. No, thank you! They seemed to disregard my circumstances, which showed a lack of empathy and customer service.

I was expecting a visitor the following day so I thought I would share it . When I went to prepare it I noticed the cream was open and a stale covering laid over the cream. After letting the company know they offered me a refund for the price of the cream. Very disappointing as I am house bound I cannot get out to get more cream and what is a cream tea without cream? Surely there would be more they could offer . No companion for my circumstances just a email quoting "sorry would you like a refund for the cream" No Thank You! Totally missing the point of no cream to enjoy the product someone kindly bought me. Extreamly insensitive and lack of customer care!!!
Outstanding customer service. I forgot to put my note in when placing my order and called to get this included. Had to call back later to change delivery address which was done immediately.Nice to speak to a lovely, very helpful human being at the end of the phone!
The 6 pack mince pies were nothing special at all. Run of the mill 6 in a box but with a huge price tag for what you get. The main problem is there’s only a sliver of mince filling in them with a big void above it and the mince itself isn’t that special either. Really disappointing as I thought these would be god tier pies given the price but alas they were run of the mill.
I have used Devon Hampers before to send Hampers to a relative in North Wales. From my point of view, I find their service excellent but I always contact my relative for their opinion on the contents. Invariably, they return a positive verdict, so, I have no hesitation in recommending Devon Hampers service and contents!
