I bought the crate as a treat to myself, the cost itself was not an issue. However, my mum took a fall and broke her glasses, which I had to pay hundreds to replace. I paid for the box before the 1st of the month and after January's was sent out. I asked politely and explained I had a cost, and that I was really excited but unfortunately I will have to ask for a refund. "You agreed to the terms, no refund" is what I got in return. Yes, I absolutely know terms exist - I worked in customer service myself - but goodwill in certain situations goes a long way. They do not care in the slightest, as soon as they get your money, that's it.
