Had my Discovery 4 engine rebuilt by these after bearings went on crank Shaft. Was 2nd cheapest quote received for an engine rebuild but chose these on there reviews. Arranged for work to be completed by 4x4 engine rebuilds on Thursday afternoon. They had organised and got my car collected from Birmingham by Saturday morning. Was given a time frame of 10-16 working days from once they got it into work shop. This took them till the following week to get my car in (probably due to how busy they are). Was kept informed from once it entered the work shop of how progress was going daily. They also sent pictures of other defects identified whilst stripping engine out that could do with some attention. Prices for these extra works was very reasonable and also fixed a separate issue I had that was easier to complete whilst engine was out for cost of parts. Didn’t hear off them for 2 days the following week was really surprised to then get contacted on Wednesday the following week to say all work was complete and car was up and running and that I could collect in 2 days time once they had completed some road tests. Collected Car the following week and the engine sounds better than ever. Even getting better fuel economy now (45MPG motorway and 30MPG around town). Was given a cheat sheet on how to bed engine in and good points for future maintenance to help extend the life of the vehicle. Received a 6 month unlimited warranty with the work. Can’t fault the service received, the price paid or the quality of workmanship. Knowledgeable, friendly staff, with prompt responses to enquires on quotes, organising collection of car and completing work.
