First made contact with them in April 2023 when my LR Disco 3 engine decided to destroy itself mid journey. Called 4 different garages in my area, who wouldn't even touch it. Another 4 to get quotes ranging from £18,000 - £2,000. The cheapest quote sounded far too good to be true and as I would find out later through my own research of companies, it was (they are also based in Barking so please be weary). So the next best quote being 4x4enginerebuilds. I received a call form Kabir, polite and very knowledgeable over the phone. Again did the same checks for the company as I did the first and the reviews were staggering in comparison. This made me feel so much better and at ease. Especially if you check others and not just trustpilot. They had my vehicle recovered for me to their garage. I was kept up to date with pictures and they diagnosed it the next working day. Took pictures and informed me what had happened. Obviously it wasn't cheap generally, but owning a Land Rover isn't, so thats my own fault! Engine had ceased and needed rebuilding. It was my work car so couldn't afford not to have it. I got really lucky with the timing back then as it only took them around 14-18 days from receiving it to it being back on the road. Picture updates along the way and they even handled speaking to my warranty company who covered part of the cost. It was really a helping hand I needed in a pretty annoying situation. Today January 2024, I've had several works done by them including coolant leaking into EGR valves and suspension arms and pins to pass it's MOT. Fitted me in and got me back on the road both times with in the same day (I travel, so I wait in the area). Engine has been solid since being rebuilt as well. Couldn't recommend enough and by far the best route to take for a ceased engine. To Kabir and your team, lifesavers!
