Ace Md, was my first attempt at gaining hands on experience. It was both an exhilarating leap of faith forward as well as giant step out of my comfort zone. Not knowing the extent of what I would be indulging myself with and to how much clinical experience I would gain when signing up, I can say it caught me by surprise.The smooth transition from being a student in my medical school to being able to start clinical work with ease without any cumbersome and unnecessary hurdles was delightful to say the least. As a medical student, I had many ideas of what clinical work I I wanted to do but never had a real jump start at how I go about it. The doctors I had the time to work with kept a good balance between professionalism and sociability with the students, while being able to take time for both the patients and students individually.In the end, I learned more going out than I'd ever hoped going in and would be willing to go through ACE in the future
