my bill went from approx $193 last month to over $380 this month and used approx the same kwh. Most of the problem is the PUCO (who is getting kick backs from AEP) gives them any and all increases that they ask for while people struggle to pay these exorbitant amounts. it's a shame you have to sit in the dark, turn down your heat and wrap up in blankets to keep warm while they enjoy free electric every month and more than likely generous bonuses that we are actually giving them for lousy service and monthly rate increases.
