The hotels were good. I especially liked the ones in Venice and Rome which were close to Saint Mark's Square and the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. All the local guides were excellent especially the ones in Rome and Ravenna. There were a few hiccups. The drivers at the train stations in Milan and Rome were not there when I arrived. I had to call the emergency number and tell them exactly where I was. The hotel in Rome did not have a good internet connection. A+R should have covered the city taxes. Trafalgar did.Overall it was a wonderful trip.
