This morning we drove 20 miles to Ashford Kent and arrived at 9.30 for 10 am appointment for a PET-CT scan only to be told they they had the medication but the person who has to 'sign it off' has been delayed and won't be in until 11.30 - and then there are three appointments before my wife's ( We can hardly believe this last bit because 3 before hers which was at 10 am seems very unlikely!?) We had no text message, no email and no phone call at all from them this morning which would have saved us a long drive. They told us we can wait or rearrange the appointment but as my wife was hungry already (having been told to 'fast') we decided to rearrange for another day.My wife was somewhat apprehensive about the scan anyway and this has added to her stress. Not happy at all.
