The product cleaned my dirty caps. The one that was really dirty did not come completely clean, but much better. WARNING: I scrubbed the caps, rinsed them, and then reapplied, but used too much on the cap on reapplication and suds came out the bottom of my dishwasher. 2nd time around, I was more careful not to over apply prior to running them in the dishwasher.
