I bought a hair straightener on August 7. On September 23 it would no longer power on. I reached out to customer service and they told me I could send it in to be reviewed for a warranty claim. Now I have to pay $10+ dollars to ship in a box with their faulty product and waste my time getting a label and taking it to a drop off location. The straightener is subpar to begin with so now being responsible for returning a defective product is just a nuisance. When I reached out to customer service they responded with, “Well at least we no longer make you pay the $35 service fee.” Wow, thanks (insert sarcasm) for your generosity. Companies should not be allowed to make customers pay to return faulty items.
