From the owner and his lovely wife to all the staff we met, we could not ask for more, they courteous prompt and very friendly, the room was roomy with all the amenities you would expect, lots of storage, large walk in shower, tea coffee facilities TV and a very comfy bed. The breakfast was scrumptious with fresh tomatoes and black pudding to die for, whilst the location is 30 minutes out of Edinburgh the drive is scenic and no hassle to be away but close to the city, we also visited the Tattoo and Newton Grange Colliery, Both of which I would recommend.
