I was considering supporting Blaze Pizza, but after seeing how its operator, Randall, speaks about certain professions, I can’t justify spending my money there. In a public comment, he stated:“Admin work is simple. Don’t try and make it seem like it takes a lot of brain power. Anyone can work HR, pay invoices, and handle contracts.”This mindset is both ignorant and dismissive of an entire field of skilled professionals. HR, invoicing, and contract management require legal knowledge, financial literacy, and strategic decision-making. To belittle these roles as “simple” shows a lack of understanding of how businesses actually function—including his own.If this is how the operator views professionals in administrative and HR roles, I have to wonder how he values the employees who keep Blaze Pizza running. A company’s leadership reflects its values, and based on this, I’d rather spend my money at a business that respects all types of work
