In 2021, I purchased a lifetime license from BuySideGlobal for four technical indicators, paying over $3,000 USD. In 2022, the company was sold, and the new ownership initially allowed continued access to the tools. However, as of 2025, they have unilaterally revoked access unless users agree to a new monthly subscription plan.Despite the clear terms of a lifetime license at the time of purchase, the new owners have chosen not to honor previous agreements. When I reached out to support, I was met with legal explanations about why they believe this change is justified. I was even told I should feel “grateful” for being allowed to use the indicators a few extra years.This is not just disappointing—it’s misleading and unethical. If you’re considering doing business with this company, be warned: they may change the terms of your agreement at any time, regardless of what you originally paid for.I cannot recommend this company under its current ownership.
