We all have to deal with rude people now and again, but it sure is a low down dirty shame when one of the nastiest ones of this millennia is the owner of your local dog kennel. Tammy (the business owner, not one of her employees, mind you) made the "simple mistake" of giving away our dogs' *clearly labeled* belongings to someone else. Isn't accurate segregation of customers' property a basic (and by basic, I mean any monkey could easily do it) procedure of your business? Sure, an honest mistake is an honest mistake (giving you the benefit of the doubt, of course), but as the business owner, after you f'd up, please just take responsibility and behave like an adult. Your condescending and lackadaisical attitude toward us was so unprofessional, even your staff was embarrassed to explain it was their boss who did it ... two days prior to scheduled pickup! Don't sheepishly and repeatedly utter the phrase "this has never happened before" and think it excuses you from taking any action. Don't wait until we pay the bill and (regrettably) add a tip before telling us you don't know if we'll be getting our belongings back. This "mistake" happened two days prior to our scheduled pickup date. It was quite lazy and disingenuous of you, as the business owner, not to tell us (once again) until *after* we had paid the bill and given you a tip. Then, after we complained about not having our property returned, you tell us tough luck, you'll get your stuff only if the other customer returns them. Wow.We requested a refund or at least comparable gear for what you (as the business owner) had lost of ours, but you scoffed at us and accused us of harassment. Wow again.Based on Tammy's falsehood-laden rebuttal to my wife's review of this same ordeal, it's obvious she's not an honest person (duh!). Look, lady, we weren't upset about having to drive a quarter mile to pick up our things. We were upset because you treated us like pond scum and showed no remorse whatsoever for treating us like pond scum. Your simpleton mistake could have been an easy fix for anyone with half a brain for business sense. Sadly for you, you failed miserably. Yet, you happily took our money and laughed in our faces. Now, back to Tammy's proven pattern of dishonesty. The multiple complaints from others about their dogs getting sick after spending time at Sherwood Camp Bow Wow reveal how Tammy's claims of running a clean operation are simply lip service. Our dogs, too, got sick after coming home from Sherwood Camp Bow Wow. Needless to say, they were both perfectly healthy prior to being dropped off there for their three day stay. It'd be a nice taste of karma if the animal health inspector showed up at their door next week and yanked her license. After such an unnecessary yet disturbing experience, there's no way in Hades we'd drop another penny on this business unless, of course, the Camp Bow Wow corporate office discovered what a black eye this location is for their franchise reputation and gave Tammy the proverbial boot for the simple reasons that this owner is clueless, crass, dishonest, and hideous to boot.
