Unfortunately we had no choice in the matter, our insurance company used this firm to carry out a desk based assessment of our claim for repairs to a broken sewage/water drain in our garden. Despite being 400 miles away, and never having seen the garden or repairs, they came up with a figure well short of the cost of the repairs. We obtained a copy of their report but it is useless because it does not tell you how they came up with the figure and the firm refused us that information.
