So I took Gold cover travel insurance last June 2024. Before travelling to the formula 1 in Spain.I took SVT (heart condition) on holiday and was administered to hospital from the airport before getting the flight home. I had to have my heart stopped and reset in the airport when my heart rate was sitting at 204bpm.I missed my flight, had to book another and a hotel for my friend and myself. Let's face it he wasn't going to leave me lying on the floor of the air port!!!It was my issue, so I paid for it. Costing £400 plus food etc.One year later, the insurance company STILL DID NOT PAY OUT! I rang them and said I need this sorted ASAP. They paid out a measly £168, not even the full amount of my half, after wanting all details of me and my friend.Absolutely disgraceful insurance company! My advice, AVOID CLAIMS CONSORTIUM AND ROGER RICH & CO AT ALL COSTS!!!Rob (N.Ireland)
