Review Time
I had not bought glasses online in many years. The process has improved dramatically. From finding what I wanted to forwarding my prescription. Even when I made a mistake with my prescription the mistake was corrected and the resulting overcharge refunded. I spent a lot of time having fun playing with the choices in frames. The only glitch was an unexplained delay of 2-3 days that didn’t inconvenience me. I will likely return for my next pair.
I won't say it's a scam because it is pretty clear from their hidden FAQ, Privacy Policy, and About Us sections that they are a marketing company. I won't suggest using it, though. It's not a "grant" service like it is advertised. Their sole purpose is to collect and sell your information to for-profit schools and diploma mills. You can't get your information removed either, so you're stuck with the annoying emails, letters, and phone calls from all the companies that they sell your information to. Anyway, it's a waste of time to enter your information. If you are looking for help going to school, see your financial aid counselor at your college, they can help you find scholarships to pay for school. Don't give your information to a very shifty marketing company in hopes you get a "grant" of some sort.
I have gotten 3 calls from Kieser University in 4 days as well as emails since using this site. I was looking for GRANTS and they sent my information to a school I'm not going to. They SELL YOUR INFORMATION. Upon closer inspection, they say they sell your information once you dig into their privacy policies. But there is no way to remove information from their site.
THIS IS A SCAM. Do not input your information, do not answer the corresponding phone calls. All this site does is sell your info to numerous questionable contacts, who then relentlessly call you to ask a suspicious questions. Do not trust high star reviews, they are 100% false. Report the ads if you see them running.
Was looking for scholarship options and filled out the information to "See what scholarships I qualify for." All they did was take my information and hand it out to online universities which I am now getting 5 calls a day about.
It is concerning to see so many people falling for this. All they are doing is selling your info to questionable schools. For profit schools in paricular are bad news.Applying for federal and state financial aid including grants is done by filling out the FREE fafsa form and indicating schools you applied to. If you get into the college you will recieve a financial aid package that may include grants. There's a ton of companies like this one trying to take advantage of you. Make sure you are only getting information from legitimate sources. At minimum look for .edu and .gov sites and RUN from any for profit college like Kaplan, Devry, ITT Tech, and University of Phoenix. Community colleges are great deals and great places to start.
They let you get to the last page which is basically blank and say almost done and nothing happens well if you are going to give me a grant or grants !! Thank You!!! I'm not to worried about this account but I have used other accounts for other things that should be on secure sites. I beleive all these surveys are scams I have never been paid for any of them!!!
