I am a returning customer who had worked with several editors and was pleased with this company. Unfortunately, one editor called "ProfessionalEditor," from whom I requested an 8-hour editing, was distorting my text based on their own untrue assumptions, over and over. After several days attempting to work with them, I gave up. When I left them a bad review, they threatened me with retaliation, saying: "I look forward to reading and rating your book someday. :)" I think this behavior is beyond disturbing, and the company should take measures against this, serious measures. I have the right to be upset for not getting what I paid for, and I should not be threatened for complaining.I contacted the company, and I was told they would ask the editor to not message me again. That was simply not enough, and I am writing to warn everyone about this editor, and the company who should not be allowing this type of character to work with them.
