Crossgates Emsleys We listed our house with Emsleys due to the benefit of receiving a discount from Emsleys solicitors when selling with Emsleys. We have now been with the crossgates branch for 12 weeks and have received a total of 3 viewings on our house during this time. When we listed our house in December we weren’t expecting many viewings due to the time of year (even though 2 of the 3 were in December). And as we got to January, Emsleys ensured us things were picking up. Through the whole of January, we received 1 viewing (a couple who couldn’t afford anywhere near asking), and we we’re assured the office was picking up in February. We have yet to have a viewing in Feb. There seems to be no real explanation as to why our property is receiving lots of RightMove views yet no viewings. We reduced our price in January as per their advice, but this doesn’t seem to have made a difference.We have handed in our notice (bare in mind, they require 14 days notice in which they have assured us they will do their best to sell our property) and we will be using another agent.
