We moved across the country. The loaders and unloaders were fantastic! The truck broke down on the trip on Friday afternoon/evening. Absolutely no help from Bellhop on Saturday or Sunday. Supervisor never called me back. I had to call the driver for updates. Never received calls from Bellhop, I had to call them. The driver gave me the logistics persons direct number, that’s how I got updates. Our entire house contents were stuck in NM (on the side of the highway for over 24 hours) from Friday evening until Monday afternoon. We were scheduled to get delivery on Saturday afternoon, finally got delivery on Tuesday morning! Communication from Bellhop is AWFUL!! We used them in the past for a local move and all went well but after this FIASCO, I will NEVER recommend them to anyone! I’ve emailed 3 times to get the bill adjusted/handled and I finally get an email back offering to pay for 1 hotel night (they caused us to stay in a hotel for 3 nights) and to take 20% off the total remaining. In that same email Bellhop admitted the ‘major service failure was all their fault’. If you use this company, be VERY cautious!Sally SEdited to add to response: I just looked at the bill and all 3 hotel nights are NOT credited to the account and the inconvenience discount or whatever it’s called is not nearly enough!! The original truck driver had mail sent to my new address to pick up when he arrived (which obviously never happened, so I still have it)!!! There were SO MANY service failures that a supervisor or higher up should have called me way before tomorrows expected call (which based on past experience with Bellhop, won’t happen)!!! Ryan in logistics was fabulous as well as the loaders and unloaders, everyone else, NOT AT ALL HELPFUL!!!
