I bought my puppy from an Amish family advertising poodles. That’s exactly what I wanted. I drove to Millersburg OH to meet with the breeder, Daniel Miller and see the puppies. I didn’t do any research except what Greenfield Puppies claims online. He is nothing more than a backyard breeder. I have since learned that the Amish are very well known for running puppy mills. First, my puppy’s tail was docked to a nub, which I later learned was common with puppy mills and BYB, because they don’t care about the integrity of the breed. Then I later learned from my vet that he has a known hereditary condition and my vet said the dogs should never have been bred. Now, at 10 months, learning a lot about poodles, and people warning about BYB and puppy mills I decided to do a DNA HEALTH AND TEST kit by a reputable company- EMBARK. Now I find out my puppy is not even 100% poodle. He is mixed with Bichon Frise. BUYERS BEWARE! There are plenty of bad reviews about Greenfield Puppies. Check out Yelp and the BBB. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY or you will be supporting puppy mills! They do not care about their breeders! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
