I found my puppy through Greenfield. They advertise individual Amish breeders and will not respond to any type of email support. This should be a must as most breeders have no email. Many of the breeders run puppy mills. For most of the breeders, contact is by leaving messages on a landline phone because of Amish religious restrictions. Few have email or cellphones. Good luck trying to get your money back. My puppy at 6 1/2 months showed Avascular Necrosis in the left hind hip. This is from recessive genes and the breeders should be sure to not breed dogs that can produce such pups. This will cost me over $5000 for surgery this week. I went into this very naive thinking Amish are good religious people. But in actuality, most see these dogs like breeding of any other livestock. For most of these breeders, the mother spends her life in a cage with cage floor. Google "puppy mills Amish Pennsylvania" and you will see see the story. I got excited because of how cute the puppy was. Keep your head and please don't make my mistake.
