I just wanted to report back that I did sign up for a healthywage bet and they did in fact pay up. In my opinon, this is a legit, honorable company. They are a little tricky with their wording so I'd like to point out a couple of things. 1) They include they amount paid in your reward. For example, I paid $600 on a bet that I'd lose 43 pounds. They said I would "win" $775 - but of course all I really netted was $175. Which is still great. I'd just prefer slightly less sales-ey lingo.2) Even if you hit your goal, you need to keep the weight off for one week at the end during their verification phase... because they may have to ask you to re-weigh. I bet they said this in some fine print somewhere that I was supposed to read... but it surprised me. I had planned a big celebratory meal at the end, which would make me hold a lot of water weight for a day or two, as big cheat meals do - but when I discovered the "one week" aspect, I had to delay my celebration. HOWEVER, I found this program extremely motivating and very effective in my journey. I'm grateful for the staff and the program, and I'm glad they exist. I DID get $775 (I won $175) as promised, after they verified my final weigh in! The money is actually in my account now. They have earned their 5 stars!Thank you HealthyWage!
