Booked table for 13 for my sons 16th birthday. On arival my son was asked for id ? .So he produced his newly recieved provisional licence.The doorman glanced over this not looked ? Then commented he is not coming in because he has had to much already ???.( ie drink) aparently he had special powers of perseption to see this.I was gobsmacked i explained we had a booking of 13 and for what reason .Eventually after a few minutes we entered.The doormans ego and the obvious chip on his shoulder plus the power trip he takes from this put a dampener on my sons birthday .Had my son rocked up with 6 or 7 simaler aged lads i could understand the questioning but he was with me (dad) so not only did he insult my son by alledging he had been drinking he also judge me obviously.It was disgusting behaviour from a so called family fun venue.Had it been any other time i would of definatly issued a challenge to him .But chose my sons day over this first class idiot .Hooters Nottingham realy needs to look at there policys and doormen.The internal service and food was great but given how my son was treated we nor any of the party of 13 will return nor reccomend this venue
