This review is mainly focused on Hubble's customer service. I do not have any opinion on their contact lenses.9 October 2020:After seeing Huddle’s promotional offer “14 pair of contact lenses for £1”, I bought these. Lenses arrived in time, but no VAT receipt. I paid through PayPal. Order number Order #472436.This morning, 9 Oct 2020, my PayPal informed me that Hubble have deducted £29 for their subscription. I never applied for any subscription, and neither I was told that there is an automatic subscription service. At least they could have emailed informing me about the oncoming subscription. It’s gross cheating by Hubble, first they provide an attractive offer (£1 offer) and then without telling the customer they charge for a continuous subscription. I am frustrated with Hubble, because they cheated me by starting a subscription without informing me. I am the customer, so I have a right to know before you charge any money from my account. I did a quick internet search, and I am not the only customer with this problem. I cannot cancel this unwanted subscription online, but I will have to speak them on the phone. Dear Hubble, rather than using these shady tricks, please improve your contact lense quality and prices, then customers will return to you themselves. This dirty trick may win you some money but eventually you will lose your customer on a longer run. I am never ever going to buy again from Hubble and will never go near to these online shady offers. I have revoked pre-authorisation to Hubble in my PayPal, and hopefully that will stop them taking any more money. And at the meantime I will try to get back my money from Hubble. I will update this review if there are any recent development.12 October 2020: I rang the customer service. They have promised me that the money will be credited back into my account once I return the shipment which is currently on the way. So fingers crossed.15 November 2020: No refund even after one month. So I have chased the customer service.19 November 2020@: Finally I received my money back. However, Hubble could have done it weeks ago that would have earned their customer service a five star.
